A Proposal for
noséa
This proposal outlines the RTMP Launch Phase for noséa — a premium handheld vibration beauty and wellness device. It covers the full scope of work, deliverables, commercial terms, and the strategic pathway from concept to mass production manufacture.
Project Background
noséa is a premium handheld beauty device positioned within the professional skincare and wellness category. The product will deliver controlled low amplitude vibration (20–55 Hz) for use on the face, head, and neck, supporting muscle toning, lymphatic drainage, muscle release, and overall skin vitality.
The device will be handheld and ergonomically optimised for facial, head, and neck contours, wrapped in premium seamless silicone, and approximately 3" × 3" × 1" in size. It will feature four operating modes at specific frequencies, a rechargeable battery with 30+ minutes of life, USB-C charging (self-sealing preferred), and a target water resistance rating of IPX6.
The target user is women aged 30–60, with a retail price point of USD $199–$299. The product sits in the premium consumer beauty segment and must deliver smooth, quiet vibration without percussive motion.
The project is currently at idea and concept stage. No CAD files or engineering documentation exist. The client has a design brief and a reference mock-up. Full product development is required from R&D through to mass production manufacture.

Scope of Work
The Route to Market Plan (RTMP) is a paid strategic planning engagement that precedes any development work. It maps the exact pathway from the current concept stage through to mass production manufacture.
Duration: Approximately 4–6 working weeks from confirmation
The RTMP Launch Phase consists of the following five core deliverables:
The RTMP Document Will Include
- Phase timelines and phase management costs
- Shield Works resource allocations and core deliverables across each phase
- Industrial design and internal architecture planning
- Sampling, development, and design optimisation (full DFM/DFA)
- Electronics development scope: PCB, firmware, vibration motor, battery, and charging system
- Prototyping and pilot run manufacture planning
- Mass production pathway and future scaled production goals
What Is Not Included
The RTMP Launch Phase fee covers all five deliverables above, including all research, technical assessment, reporting, and coordination. The following are excluded and will be scoped and costed within the RTMP document itself:
Industrial design and CAD development work
Electronics development (PCB design, firmware, vibration motor integration)
Prototyping, sampling, and physical testing
Tooling and mould costs
Certification and compliance testing (FCC, CE, IPX6, etc.)
Shipping costs for physical samples or prototypes
Mass production and assembly costs
Commercial Terms
| Stage | Fee | Payment Trigger |
|---|---|---|
| RTMP Launch Phase | $5,000 USD | Payable in full on project confirmation |
